Verbal Intervention Training
Verbal Intervention Training prepares your staff to identify, respond to, and prevent low-risk crisis behaviour with non-restrictive intervention techniques.
The framework introduces a 4-step process for turning crises into an opportunity for positive outcomes.
Teaches trainees non-restrictive verbal interventions, such as limit-setting, that effectively de-escalates challenging behaviour.
Explores the effects of trauma and the psychology of the brain on the person in crisis as well as the responding individual.
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training
Verbal de-escalation module is included within this.
Teaches safe disengagement techniques to ensure clients rights and liberties are not being infringed upon.
Non violent one or two person holdings are taught in this course to ensure clients are held in the least invasive and safest manner. It is a last resort and ensuring we are not taking away a clients rights.
Aftercare
The after care of our clients is something we take pride in. We check in with our clients regularly after training to ensure high standards and knowledge is maintained. This includes consultations, quizzes, and check ins at their place of work should it be required.
